Our Process

Step.1

Horse Details

Videos, pictures, x-rays, passport copy and veterinary certificate are available electronically. Any specific requests for additional data such as special videos or pictures, particularly additional x-rays, will be chargeable at cost price.

Step.2

Horse Selection

Select your horse knowing that you have chosen an animal that has been produced by us since the age of 4 and ridden exclusively by our trainer George Russell.

Step.3

Pre-Purchase Examination

Our yard is on the edge of The Curragh in County Kildare which is in the heart of the Irish Horse Industry including racing, breeding and equestrian sports. You are welcome to appoint your veterinary surgeon from a list of veterinary practices on or near the Curragh. We will transport the horse to and from the examination at any of the listed practices at our expense. Most of the top equine veterinary practices and hospitals are beside the Curragh. There are of course other top-class practices to be found throughout the country. You are quite welcome to choose a practice not on our geographic list. If it is more than an hour from our yard we reserve the right to charge travelling costs and expenses.

Step.4

Payment

Payment is due and payable in full upon presentation to the Purchaser of the contract for signing.

Step.5

Transport

Consult our list of the major international transporters of horses from Ireland to North America. They will transport your new horse, arrange quarantine and deliver to you. They will complete all of the necessary paperwork and processes involved. We can make the initial contacts with your chosen carrier on your behalf if you wish and we will work closely with them to make a smooth and comfortable journey for your horse.
